Danielle Deffontaines is certified Lumina Practitioner. But what is Lumina?
Created in the United-States a decade ago, the Lumina Spark provides an individualized psychometric profile, so called Portrait, based on the big Five paradigm and the Jungian personality theory.
This Portrait provides a framework for better self-understanding and helps people identify how to improve their working relationships with others and all the more to elaborate personal development goals to work on.
A question could be: “why do we need a new tool!” and that’s relevant. There are many tools but this one is quite accurate and easy to use compared with those based on the same theory like MBTI, for which I’m certified or Insight, DISC… In my opinion, the main contribution of this tool is the design of a portrait with 3 “personae”: it measures three unique yet integrated views of you – the Underlying you, the Everyday you and the Overextended you.
The Lumina questionnaire is very easy to complete. The report and on top of that, the discussion with the coach enlighten one’s capabilities, skills and behaviors in the day to day life and when under pressure. From this analysis, you can easily build your personal action plan.
The Lumina Spark tool is also very accurate to understand how a team works and provides insights to work more effectively with others. It has nothing to do with management books recipes, and aims to rely on the strengths of each member of the team.
