The lycée international in Saint-Germain-en-Laye is well known, with its 14 national sections, as well as the Lycée de Sèvres (English and German sections); they both are excellent options for bilingual children. For family living in the South-West of Paris, Buc offers another option.
Section Internationale Anglophone de Buc, from CE2 to Terminale, offers free bilingual education within the French public school system, with a long‐term view to the pupils taking the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB) at lycée level. An Open Day was held at Collège Martin Luther King, Buc, on Monday January 16th, where applicants were able to sit in on a real English class with sixièmes. It was a fun opportunity for children in primary school to see what class in collège is really like, and for families to learn more about the section.
You can also read about the section on www.psab.fr. Application details are at http://psab.fr/content/admissions, with deadlines of March 3 for primary school, March 10 for collège applicants, and Jan 23 for those applying for lycée.
